    How word to jpg works

    1

    Choose your .docx

Drop in the document you want as pictures.

    2

    We typeset, then render

The document is laid out exactly as it would be for PDF, then each page is rendered to a high-resolution image in your browser.

    3

    Download the images

A single page downloads as one .jpg; a longer document arrives as a ZIP with one image per page.

When an image beats a document

Instagram, X, Discord, WhatsApp status, Slack previews, marketplace listings, forum posts, image-only upload forms — plenty of places accept a JPG and choke on a .docx. Turning a document into images also flattens it: the text can't be edited, and nothing that lives in the file's metadata travels with it.

    How sharp are the images?

Each page renders at twice its document size — about 1224×1584 pixels for US Letter — at 92% JPEG quality. That is comfortably readable on a retina screen and fine for printing small.

    What comes across

Exactly what the Word to PDF converter produces, because the image is a render of that page: headings, styles, colors, indents, lists, tables and inline images. Text boxes, columns, headers and footers are simplified the same way, and the typeface is the built-in DejaVu Sans rather than your original font.

    Word to JPG — FAQ

    What resolution are the JPGs?
Each page is rendered at 2× its document size (about 1224×1584 pixels for US Letter) at 92% quality.
    How do multi-page documents download?
As a single ZIP containing one image per page, named after your document with a page number.
Can I convert Word to PNG instead?
Not yet — JPG only, because it keeps photo-heavy pages small. For a lossless page image, convert to PDF and export the page from a PDF viewer.
Is my document uploaded to make the images?
No. Both steps — laying out the pages and rendering them — happen in this browser tab.
